Exciting! And drowning...

Okay, its been a while since I wrote anything on this place. Which is a pity, 'cause my life havent been exactly what I recognize as dull the last month. Anyway, facebook is on the warpath. Facebook? Sure you didnt mean myface, or mybook or facespace just to get really annoyed, not to say confused. Internet meetingplaces are exploding - I caught myself being registered about 13 places the other day - which is a bit too much if you ask me. I ended up deleting my profiles most places. However, Im still a huge fan of myspace. And I always will be.

So, Im back at Nesodden. Again. Yeah, I know, its not exactly a long time since I was here last time. About two weeks, actually. I just got the urge to get home and take care of some business. So, Im going to a kind of a jobinterview tomorrow. Ive indirectly been offered a job at VG, one of the three most important newspapers in Norway. Its not my favourite one though, I think it overall is quite dull newspaper - too much babes & boobs, too much crap about how good it is that the norwegian rightwing's being on their way to ruling the country. "I'M A DOCTOR OF JOURNALISM GOD DAMN IT!". I have no reason to complain really, I'm 19 years old and I get a job in the bestselling newspaper in Norway. That is, from my point of view, a wonderful chance to get my foot in the door. Being idealistic is something I can do when I actually can afford being thrown on the streets. So. what's the big deal? I'm so nervous I almost feel like throwing up. What if I say something wrong? What if they change their minds in the last minute? Somehow, I dont think they will, they know me from before, they know what Im capable of, they know that Ive worked with journalism for quite a while now, considering the fact that Im only nineteen, and that Ive been writing for both Aftenposten for a while and that I have been head of the reporters at UKM for like three years. And Im meeting up with a journalist from Aftenposten as well tomorrow, we're going to talk about a book that Ive written a piece for. So, let's just cross our fingers and hope for the best. :)

All the best to you, and I promise to write again soon.
